Your challenge:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who will help us to build and improve the backbone of our web and mobile application that enables the employees of our clients to grow personally and professionally wherever they are. In this role you will provide our mobile and frontend developers a clean and well-defined access to our data infrastructure. Together with your team you will manage the server side implementation of new features and functionalities, while restricting access to sensitive user data.

Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to find the right balance between pragmatism and perfection is required.

  • Extensive programming skills in JavaScript, with multiple years of backend experience using NodeJS (TypeScript).
  • High focus on maintainability and quality of your code.
  • Strong awareness of privacy and security principles.
  • Leverage unit testing, integration testing and code reviews to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
  • You are familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Feel comfortable in a scrum-based development process.
  • Be familiar with professional development tools like Git and Jira.
  • Enthusiasm for what you do and are willing to teach and learn new technologies.
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills.
