Job requirements

What you'll do here at Sharpist

Within 1 month you will…

  • Get to know the team, our Sharpist culture and all relevant stakeholders from the management you will be working with

  • Critically analyze the fundamental KPIs of our company and work closely with the leaders of other business units to understand and improve the performance

  • Continuously update our financial models and develop new scenarios to support strategic decision-making at the C-Level

Within 1 quarter you will…

  • Prepare the board meetings and investor updates as well as ad-hoc requests from investors and other stakeholders

  • Substantially support our upcoming fundraise by working closely with the founders to build the foundation for investor conversations

We believe, you'll be successful if you are this type of person

  • You have a highly analytical and numbers-driven mindset and work with a high degree of detail-orientation

  • You are passionate about startups, entrepreneurship and understand the fundamentals of SaaS-metrics & VC-backed fundraising

  • Due to your proactive, hands-on mentality, you are not afraid to speak and voice your opinion independent of the hierarchy level

These hard facts will get us excited to get to know you better

  • You are in the final year or have graduated with a university degree focused on finance/economics/accounting/controlling/entrepreneurship/management or a comparable study program

  • You collected first experience in finance-related internships, such as corporate finance, VC, M&A, PE, or similar

  • You aim to collect professional experiences in a start-up for minimum 4 months

  • Fluency in written and verbal English

  • Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets & MS PowerPoint or Google Slides
