Job description

As our Head of Marketing you will lead the marketing organization, be responsible for the development of our marketing channels as well as our communication strategy and the creative output across the entire user journey. You have the opportunity to build up and lead your team and drive significant impact immediately. You will be starting on an almost blank canvas while profiting from being in a medium-sized company with significant budgets.

What you'll do here at Sharpist

Within 1 month you will...

... Implement marketing strategies to reach key target accounts.

... Develop a deep understanding of our users, what their journey looks like and start building powerful lead generation funnels.

Define long-term priorities and investments as well as prioritize and distribute budgets. 

Within 1 quarter you will...

... Generate a consistent stream of quality leads that eventually convert into customers.

... Define and develop our brand identity and make Sharpist known amongst our target audience.

Deliver convincing marketing materials for touchpoints all across the organisation.

... Have started building up a team nearly from scratch by defining team requirements, hiring, onboarding, leading, developing and retaining team members.

Within 1 year you will...

Shape all of Sharpist’s external communication.

... Make Sharpist THE voice of a new generation of companies in L&D.

... Collect and anticipate internal requirements and prioritize according to top line impact.

Build brand awareness among target audiences including press, customers and competitors.

Lead a high performing team and enable them to consistently reach their objectives.

  • You bring at least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in an enterprise-level B2B marketing leadership role.
  • You have a long-term vision for growth and the ability to cross-functionally collaborate on its execution.
  • A proven track record of driving fast growth in an unstructured environment.
  • You know what it means to build a brand, control it and grow it.
  • You have successfully led creative teams with demonstrable impact in a competitive media landscape.
  • A deep understanding of how individual marketing activities tie into top-line growth.
  • You bring the ability to simplify complex problems and situations into digestible, prioritized action plans.
  • A strong empathy for the media and knowledge on how to seed our story into our target publications.
  • Fluency in English, German would be a plus.
