As Legal Counsel (m/f/x) you are the primary contact for all legal topics arising within Sharpist and enable scalable sales processes by empowering our sales teams with professional and structured contract work.

Job requirements

Within 1 quarter you will…

  • Be the primary sparring partner of our sales team for the creation and negotiation of contracts and participate in client meetings
  • Implement processes and tools around contract creation and management
  • Actively manage and expand our network of lawyers and coordinate legal requests for various other topics with said network

Within 1 year you will…

  • Continuously update and improve our templates and adapt them to regional regulations in multiple new countries
  • Manage the legal aspects of general assemblies, shareholder resolutions and fundraising

And then, what's next?

  • You will be responsible for the legal aspects of various new projects around the company's ongoing expansion, such as the set-up of legal entities abroad and M&A transactions

  • You are a creative problem solver who can manage conflicting interests of internal and external stakeholders in a solution-oriented way

  • You take the perspective of our overall contract framework and not get lost in clauses

  • Your work is valued for being detail-oriented which has helped you to establish error-free contract frameworks

  • Ability to communicate complex contract law in simple terms and defuse conversations with customers

  • Your ability to empower and educate others has helped you to implement legal standards across departments

  • You have a rather pragmatic and commercially oriented Mindset that seeks the best possible solution

  • Ability to negotiate with external and senior stakeholders


These hard facts will get us excited to get to know you better

  • C2 or native language level in German and C1-C2 level in English is a must-have

  • You have worked 2-5 years in a legal role in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a B2B business context

  • (Commercial) law study background with knowledge in contract and company law (Gesellschafts- und Vertragsrecht)

  • Experience in working out legal frameworks and contracts

  • Experience in implementing legal tools and processes

  • You built up an international network of lawyers and legal providers in the past is a plus
