Job requirements

The Challenge

We are seeking a Technical G Suite System Administrator and General System Administrator to join our team and be responsible for implementing and optimising technologies that enable a collaborative, mobile and productive workforce for all Sharpies.

You Will...

  • Provide administration oversight for day-to-day activities in G Suite admin console,
  • Support execution of IT tools governance from a system administration perspective
  • Managing our hardware (primary Chrome and MacBooks, iPhones and Pixel Devices)

In this role you may also take responsibility as our Data Protection Officer, being therefore responsible that we comply with data privacy regulations and improve the general data protection processes. We do not expect that you bring all of this knowledge, but you should be keen to learn it within the first 6 months. We have your back, including with a budget for the necessary learning & development.

Our Tech Stack

We don't expect you to be an expert in all these, but we do expect you to be eager to learn when and what may be needed. And we'll have your back. 

  • Backend is running on Node.js and written in TypeScript, providing a GraphQL API. It’s backed by MongoDB with Mongoose and Redis databases.
  • Web apps are written in TypeScript and Sass using React, Apollo GraphQL, and Ant Design.
  • Mobile apps for Android and iOS share the same React Native codebase. It’s written in TypeScript, except for small portions of native code in Java and Swift.
  • For our cross-platform real time video/audio communication we rely on Twilio.
  • Our data stack is built on top of GCP (BigQuery, DataStudio, Firebase, Analytics).
  • There’s a few more things, but that’s the gist of it.
