VP Marketing / Demand Generation (f/m/x)

As a VP Marketing (f/m/x), you will bring the Sharpist product vision of “personalized learning for every employee worldwide” to life by leading the local and international marketing strategy and demand generation in partnership with our revenue teams.

What you'll do here at Sharpist

Within 1 month, you will…

  • Have a successful onboarding and get to know your key stakeholders and a team of three

  • Understand the core value Sharpist provides to business customers and learners

Within 1 quarter, you will…

  • Heavily lean into building and optimizing our new demand generation strategy, including increasing our conversion rates from entrance to goal (net new names, MQLs, SQLs) - and you will do this while heading towards a full-funnel marketing strategy as the importance of other marketing areas grows

  • Lead our brand positioning and messaging efforts

  • Manage ad spend and focus on results, and create processes for weekly and monthly reporting

  • Navigate the content creation and distribution across multiple channels and mediums

  • Start ensuring that timelines, budgets, and expectations are communicated to all parties in a clear, regular, and efficient manner

Within 1 year you will…

  • Significantly contribute to our 3x growth by leading all demand generation, digital marketing, and offline marketing activities

  • Drive campaigns on time and on budget, managing both internal resources and geographically distributed marketing and design contractors

  • Build processes that can be handed off as the team significantly grows

And then, what's next?

  • Lead our international expansion through marketing and set up teams in newly-entered markets!

Job requirements

We believe you'll be successful if you are this type of person

  • You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop a high-performing team

  • You are a metrics-oriented marketer with a strong focus on ROI and are able to hit the ground running

  • You know hyper-growing startups and get excited about them

These hard facts will get us excited to get to know you better

  • Multiple years of SaaS marketing, P&L, and revenue ownership experience

  • Strong experience with and interest in (among others) demand generation - you know how to build a powerful marketing and demand generation strategy, develop the brand and improve it with time

  • Experience effectively managing teams of distributed contractors

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German would be nice to have

  • You have a proven record of increasing leads significantly, preferably in a hyper-growing environment

  • You ideally come from the ed-tech/saas space, understand our customers, and can bring us to the next level
