As Senior Product Designer (f/m/x) your mission is to design solutions that impact the experience of our coaches on our app, coach platform, and corresponding portals. You act as the glue that ties the team together throughout the product development process to deliver high-quality design.

What you'll do here at Sharpist

Within 1 quarter you will…

  • Perform audit of our product and understand what feature is available to which users on which platform

  • Build relationships with stakeholders outside of the product team who are responsible for the product area you are working on

  • Lead the user discovery activities, engage with the team through iterative design/development process and deliver the best design solution (both UX and UI) to our end users. 

Within 1 year you will…

  • Take on full ownership of our core coaching features. Continue shaping our vision of how Sharpist provides coaching to our learners and produce thoughtful design solutions using your research, creative thinking, design execution skill 

  • Define opportunity areas according to the company-wide OKRs and set up a project plan together with product managers

  • Act as a keystone of your team. Lead by example and build a strong team culture that can deliver the best outcome

  • Dig deep into user behaviors with product managers and data analysts, iterate and improve user experience

And then, what's next?

  • Bring your expertise as a product designer to help us set the right path to take in order to create more impact to the overall success of the business

  • Extend your area of influence and execute projects that impact our learner content experience (e.g. our micro task and reading experience)

  • Take over more leadership responsibilities and mentor a hired designer

  • Significant work experience as a product designer

  • A portfolio that demonstrates good UX and UI design skills with a range of UX outputs and understanding of design fundamentals

  • Proficiency with Figma (Designing UI, prototypes, components, styles)

  • Strong writing and communication skills in English

  • Based in Germany or willing to relocate, location in Berlin is a plus
